Nature is our common good, regardless of the boundaries that divide us. To support efforts for its protection, the International Ranger Federation was established in 1992, bringing together local organizations of nature protection workers from all continents. 
In 2000, at the congress in South Africa, the IRF Federation adopted a declaration of the qualities of a good Ranger. Fully identifying with the mission and work of the International Ranger Federation, PTSOP has already begun the process of joining its structures. The introducing association is the Verband der Österreichischen Nationalparkbetreuer Innen (Austrian Ranger organization).
As a member of IRF, our Society can benefit from the experiences, knowledge, and collaborative support of partner organizations worldwide. Personal contacts can also be facilitated more easily, whether through online means or during mutual visits.
