The most valuable natural areas in Poland, including national parks, landscape parks, and nature reserves partially located within their borders, cover nearly 10% of the country's territory (approximately 2 million hectares).
An important goal of the Society is to establish cooperation between protected areas and nature protection services, both at the national and international levels.
Nature is our common heritage regardless of the borders that divide us. In order to support efforts for its conservation, the International Ranger Federation was established in 1992.
